First Dance Class

We signed the girls up for their first dance class - ballet. They loved all the things that went along with dancing (tutus, ballet shoes, leggings) and they even did pretty well following the teacher!

I can see years ahead of classes and recitals :)

New Family Photos!

So for those who have not heard, we have officially moved to Denver! Shawn took a new teaching job downtown and we are house hunting while we stay with my mom in Castle Rock.

We were so sad to leave LA since we loved our life there and our friends. But we are excited about our new life in Colorado and the chance we have to be close to family.

Before we left California, we had family pictures taken on the beach. I LOVE how they turned out. Is it just me, or are these the cutest girls ever?!

Olive is the blondie and Parker has gotten a little strawberry brown.

Summer Stuff

It's the best having Shawn home for the summer! We can go and do fun things everyday like the beach, playgroups, parks, museums and more. I am so bad at taking pictures, but I did twice last week!

Parker loves trains, so we took the girls to the Travel Town train museum.

In this one Parker is saying her new favorite phrase - "Choo Choo" with the appropriate arm motion.

We also got the girls a pool for the backyard, and they love love it. So we do it just about everyday...

1st Zoo Trip

While Shawn was on his spring break, we took the girls for the their first trip to the zoo. The loved it! Until they realized they couldn't touch the animals, then there was a lot of frustration and crying.

It's hard to get good pictures of 2 babies, but 2 babies AND animals was nearly impossible, but here are some.
